SEBN RO

In 2010, SE Bor­d­net­ze S.R.L Roma­nia was found­ed, with its head­quar­ters sit­u­at­ed in the south­west Roman­ian city of Caransebes.

The par­ent com­pa­ny, Sum­it­o­mo Elec­tric Bor­d­net­ze SE, made the deci­sion to expand its oper­a­tions in Roma­nia in 2014. The idea of open­ing a new loca­tion to accom­mo­date the expand­ing needs of cus­tomers has pre­sent­ed a new chal­lenge, even after the fac­to­ry in Caransebes demon­strat­ed that it was fea­si­ble. The city in which the com­pa­ny chose to expand its oper­a­tions was Dro­be­ta Tur­nu Sev­erin.

Diver­si­ty at SEBN RO

Approx­i­mate­ly 1,500 employ­ees work at SEBN RO across the two plants sit­u­at­ed in the coun­ties of Mehed­inți, and Caras-Sev­erin.
